I'm an indie iOS developer. I like to build things that are useful, fast, and do one thing well.

The name is a mashup of Colemak (a keyboard layout for people who decided QWERTY wasn't worth suffering through) and the very glamorous title of Dad. If you know, you know.

The Philosophy

Every app I ship follows the same principles:

• Do one thing well. No feature bloat. No subscription upsells for features that should exist at launch.
• Respect your attention. No dark patterns, no badge spam, no "rate this app" popups after 30 seconds.
• Ship it when it's ready. I'd rather take a little longer and get it right.

The Developer

Hi, I'm Nic. I'm a software engineer, keyboard builder, and dad based in the midwest. I write iOS apps in my spare time, mostly because I kept wanting apps that didn't exist yet.
